Ideas for toddler fireworks craft that isn't messy..

I do the craft for our local toddler group, but they have said that they prefer non-messy crafts (silly, I know).

Does anyone have any ideas that I could nick for a fireworks themed craft that doesn't involve gloopy glue and glitter or should I just get it out anyway and say sod them?

Any ideas much appreciated.

Black card or paper and chalks. Makes nice pictures and not that messy (until they drop the chalk on floor and stand on it!)

Thanks raffi - am now thinking chalks and sequins with pritt stick to make it all shiny

loo roll rockets -
Child glues strips of tissue paper onto the bottom of the loo roll, decorate sides with shiny paper/sequins. Adult to make a cone out of a semi-circular piece of paper/card to put on the top.

edible sparklers are good - quick'n'easy with minimal mess -

chocolate fingers or those Mikado sticks would be good - dipped in melted chocolate then dipped in hundreds and thousands.

Draw firework explosions in wax crayons then paint over in black paint. the paint runs off the wax, looks good.
