Finding an art club/tuition for children

Does any one know of a directory or suchlike where I can find a local art club for a 12 year old or a local tutor who runs small groups or offers lessons?

We're looking for help with drawing, painting, and perhaps textile work too.

I've had a good trawl round the web and there seems to be nothing near me.

Any ideas please ??!!

Sorry can't help with a directory, but for a 12 yr old maybe look into adult classes??, you or more likely to find those if theres no childrens one near you, maybe askin your library or look at a local art school, they will likely run evening classes, as will some schools.

I grew up in an area where there was really nothing like this either, but I managed fine to teach myself a lot from books & kits, these days theres lots on TV too, so if you really can't find anything local, maybe that would be the way to go .though go for good adult books for a 12 yr old...it must of been enough, as I've been lucky enough to have enjoyed a career in my chosen art/craft
