Pattern for craft bag with wooden handles

Hi all.
My Mum has asked me to make her a knitting/craft bag for Christmas, I want to make one like she used to have with wide wooden handles but I can't find a pattern anywhere. Can anyone help please? I found a knitted one but I can't knit!

What kind of wooden handles? Do you already have the wooden handles?

It would be easy enough to adapt a pattern that you find online to encorporate wooden handles.

Have you searched online for bag tutorials?

No but have seen them in the market - have no idea how to describe them though! They are wide, longish on the bit that attaches to the bag and then curve up.

I have looked online, have found plenty of bag tutorials but none with handles - I have made a couple of easy bags this weekend though and feel a bit more confident (possibly ill-advisedly..)so I think if I buy them then I can play with the material a bit maybe and work it out.
