Made a silver net version on elastic & I can't hide the knot well enough

Made another version on a headband & I can't get it round DD's very large hair & it sits too far back

Damn I am useless

KatyMac · 23/10/2010 20:40

a haircomb with the snood attached halfway. jam the comb in scoop hair into snood. will look for a picture. Sometimes attached to a largish clip, secure like a pony tail then scoop hair in.

here

KatyMac · 23/10/2010 21:00

Really? That might work

DD has run out of steam with hairstyles atm, but Blackpool approaches & we need to wow them, new outfits new hair & everything

Isn't it odd I always thought it was about dancing Hmm

interesting

HuckingFell · 23/10/2010 21:04

ah, like a giant feature bun net?

HuckingFell · 23/10/2010 21:11

can you get a readymade net and cover it in pearls and sequins? ribbon/braid would also work for hiding elastic, specially if you stich it together rather than knot it.

I attached a circle of silver net to a head band but I can't get it over her head & get the hair in

Watching the vid

i think the net needs to be a bag sort of shape.

KatyMac · 23/10/2010 21:23

The circle is/was about5 inches bigger in diameter than the headband & the elastic one looks good apart from the knot

I wonder if I do the elastic one tie it & cut away the spare & replace the elastic each time?

on a website i saw they said use ribbon for adjusting the size? can't you get the knot underneath her hair at the back?

KatyMac · 23/10/2010 21:32

Maybe if I get some black elastic it would hide better at the bottem
