Help/recommendeations for halloween art/craft needed

My dc would like a halloween party - I do one every year but don't make much effort with decorating the house/pumpkin carving. Could anybody advise me on fake cobwebs, making witches hats, etc? I am clueless!!

I was thinking of doing papier mache heads, I remember using balloons, but for the glue -does flour and water work?

TIA

It does work but PVA dries quicker and is less messy IMO.

Ovals of orange card with faces and green stalks attached to string or paperchain pumpkins.

Cobwebs can be made by soaking string in PVA glue and laying out in a cobweb shape on a plastic bag - can be peeled off when dry and hung up. Adding glitter when wet gives an interesting effect.

Witches hats - Half circle or circle curled up to make cone depending on size needed and whether you want them taller then wide.
Half - tall thin
circle - mostly wide and short but can be manipulated to tall and thin but more wastage.

Although tescos and other places are selling stuff like this fairly cheaply.
