I tragically shrunk a beautiful mohair cardigan an now have some lovely soft felt. To make me feel less glum i thought i'd make something lovely out of them and relly like this pattern
baby shoes
but (and despite reading the comments underneath) can't for the life of me make them. Am i supposed to cut out the middle bit before sewing? Anyone perhaps made these and can help allternatively anyone got a link to an easier pattern that also looks as pretty?

no you just cut along the lines in the middle, when you fold it and sew it makes a different shape with the long middle bits becomeing the upper band.

Thanks but still being a bit thick - do I cut along alll three lines? or I suppose two the rounded line being one long line?
The line in the very middle, if I cut that before I sew it do I then sew the fist bit coming from the heel to the start of the parallel lines to make the heel seam?
Apologies for being so thick

thats excellent news. sometimes you just need to cut a pattern out first and then play with how it might go together.
