What can I do with french knitting?

I've bought the said dolly thing and some wool, have rekindled the skill from when I was 10. Now, apart from making flowery corsages and appliqué to cushions, what else can I use french knitting for?? All ideas welcome. Thanks.

Can of worms?

I hate the lariat thing my work pass is attached to, so I French-knitted a nicer one that doesn't clash with my clothes. (Employer is local authority and doesn't insist we wear the hideous branded lariat thingie.)

Applique to DCs' jumpers or dresses?

I'm the OP and I've found a decent use for french knitting, pic is on my profile. Cheers all.

That looks nice.
I did like Lauree's pencil warmer idea though Grin
