Swan costume help?

Dd would like a swan costume, I haven't quite figured out how to make the body? I looked online for inspiration but mostly it seems to be ballet style with a tutu, I want it to look more bird-like, was thinking making dd's torso the neck and maybe making a swan mask?

Any advice/ ideas?

Oh. was about to say why don't you copy the 'swan lake' look and represent a swan rather than create an actual whole swan costume.

If you mae DD's torso the neck it will look unbalanced....her arms will ruin the lines too...I think that's why most are representatoins ....or you could look at Bjorks famous Oscar dress for inspo!
