Knitters - pattern help wanted!

I want to knit a man's scarf with chunky slub wool but can't find a suitable pattern

The look I'm after is something like a chunky rib or maybe cable or something like that, quite a rustic sort of style.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you Smile

I think the pattern looks good on a scarf in chunky.

or this one

Moss stitch - 1x1 rib with uneven no of stitches, or fisherman's rib?

thanks both

tb - what's fisherman's rib? (quite a new knitter!)

Mistake rib is very effective looking. K2 P2 on an odd number of stitches as here

There are two nice ones in the Louisa Harding scarves, hats and gloves book - this one. There's a plain one with a stripe and a moss stitch one.
