Hi Mummylin,

I used to press flowers when I was younger, and from what I remember the rose petals would turn brown after a while (the whole flower is probably too thick to press). Instead, if you hang the roses upside down separately, they should dry out. They make a nice arrangement in a vase then, though they do collect dust!

Thankyou both so much,i would of hated to destroy them after she has asked me to do this ,my sister herself will be in cuba enjoying her honeymoon !!!

Press a few of the petals if you can - otherwise dont worry about it as the whole wedding thing will reduce in her head once she's back from honeymoon and it'll just be something else to clutter up her house!

i do also have all the table decoration flowers so i will use your idea and save the petals from one of the vases.I have forewarned her she may come back to stems !!!
