Hello everyone,

I help to organise an Art Trail / Open Studios event in the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland where you can go and nosey in people's studios and meet artists and craft makers you wouldn't ordinarily get the opportunity to who have opened their studio doors and colonised various village halls and galleries.

Crossing Borders is a non-profit organisation that is basically an advocate for artists and makers in this rural area. It's a great three days, this is our third year and we hope to see some of you there .

All details below:

Crossing Borders Art Trail

3rd - 5th September 2010, 10am - 5pm, FREE

The third annual Art Trail spanning the whole of the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland is here again!

Travel through the rolling countryside, meet more than 60 artists and craft makers in village halls and galleries throughout the trail and get a rare look behind the scenes in over 30 studios seldom open to the public.

Plenty of sticky bun stops along the way - a great family day out all in all!

For a free Art Trail guide booklet email [email protected] or download your free copy from www.crossing-borders.org.uk.
