I had a baby 11 weeks ago and I miss my sewing!! I was wondering if there's any other craft-loving mums in my area that might be interested in getting together say once a fortnight for a relaxed afternoon of sewing, crafting, and general chat?

Um, I met a Mum in Greenwich the other day who knits all her dcs clothes (one baby, one toddler). Mind you, she also knits her husband's suits :-o which might make her (or indeed him) officially mad She is American so that probably explains it. She said something about running a knitting group. I hope you find it....follow the man with the knitted forest green jacket and trousers when you see him at the shops.

If you're looking for some fabric try Church Street market.. its just off the edgware road - 5 mins from edgware road station. Theres a lovely stall at the start of the market.. very pretty cotton prints and silks. Great value and quality from a market stall.
