Just had CVS and it was really Ok

I just wanted to share my experience of a CVS as I was absolutely terrified beforehand but it really was fine. I barely felt anything at all and now have a dull ache a bit like a period pain.
We have a 1 in 10 risk of downs so now have to wait for the results so the hard part isn't over but if anyone is scared of the CVS procedure please take comfort that it's really Ok.

Glad the CVS went well - I had one too, couldn't bear to watch (I'm not good with needles on the whole) and it wasn't exactly comfortable, but wasn't bad either.

Make sure you rest as much as you can for the next couple of days; I hope they pass peacefully until you get your result... here's hoping for a good one for you.
