Soft markers for genetic disorders plus talipes

I am beside myself with worry and anxiety. We had our 20wk scan on thurs and were devastated to learn that our baby has 2 soft markers for genetic disorders (an echnogenic intracardiac focus and a slightly dilatated pelvic kidney) as well as talipes. We were advised to have an amnio and did so.
At the very least we are dealing with talipes, which, on it's own I think we can deal with. The real scary thing is if the child has a genetic disorder or mental handicap as well.
But I have been trawling the internet in the last 2 days trying to give myself some comfort on what the odds are that our baby will be ok or will have down's or some other genetic defect but can't get the comfort I need. I know that they are soft markers but what i'm scared about is whether the presence of talipes (a structural abnormality) increases the risk in conjunction with the soft markers or if it is actually considered a medium or hard marker for down's. I'm not sure. The wait is killing me. We won't have initial test results until tues or wed and each day feels like an eternity. Any thoughts on this or support from anyone who's been through the same set of markers one way or the other would be so helpful. Thanks.

Sorry cannot help with your personal situation. But I have had a similar time of worry over test results (1 in 4 chance of a condition that is incompatible with life re-occuring).

I found that ARC Antenatal Results and Choices were really helpful and put me in touch with someone who had experienced a similar condition to ours. They are professional and knowledgeable.

Hello,

I was just wondering how it all went. Thinking of you.
