My baby had increased NT 5.2mm at 12 weeks scan - now high risk!

I am now 14 weeks and 5 days pregnant and will be getting Amniocentesis Test next week - I am so scared!!

I am finding it hard to see any positives at the moment, has anyone been in a similar situation and had a normal amnio result and delivered a healthy baby?

I'm sorry OP, I've no advice. I'm simply bumping this for you as you seem to have been missed.

Best of luck with you and your family 💐

I just had a healthy baby girl whose NT was 6mm. Don’t give up hope x

Initial CVS results came back normal, the rest of the results should be available by next week.

At this point there is low amniotic fluid and think the baby might have cysts on both Kidneys but can’t be sure because not mature enough yet.

They advised of termination or to wait until 20 weeks to do a more in depth Anatomy scan which I have agreed to and will be monitored each week until then.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and things turned out ok? I’m worried about these potential cysts and what this could lead to.
