Who calls you when combined test is high risk?

Hi,

I had my combined test on Tuesday and then last night I had a message on my NHS app saying my GP had booked a phone call to speak with me this morning regarding a letter they had been sent from the antenatal clinic.

GP called and I missed the call, they left a message saying if you still want the appt you booked then ring back to rebook (sounded like they didn’t know why they were calling me)

spoke to the receptionist and they went to the GP who said they wanted to speak with me and they would call me tomorrow morning and gave me a specific time (rather than a slot like today)

I haven’t been to my GP in years so no idea why they are calling. I’m in London if that makes any difference!

any chance this is because of a high risk combined test?

as aside from this, I can’t think of any reason why my GP would be involved?

Hi, I’m in London too and it was the midwife screening team who called me with a high risk result. I very much doubt it would be the GP as the screening team are the ones who know the most about the results and also would organise next steps with the hospital. Hope that helps!

Same. It was the screening team - totally separate from any other of your midwives or doctors x
