Amnio following low risk NIPT

Good morning,
My spouse and I elected to have the eFTS blood test and it came back with a high risk for Trisomy 21. We decided to have the NIPT and that showed a low risk result. Now we are faced with the decision of whether we should proceed with an amnio. We had a miscarriage in November and we are really concerned about the risk of that happening again. However, we also want to know everything we can about the health of our baby. Our ultrasounds have been normal and we don’t have any other current concerns. Has anyone received low risk NIPT results and proceeded with an amnio? Or the opposite? I would love to hear about your experiences and your thoughts as we try to make this decision. Thank you!

Hi , i see it's been a while since your post , did you decide on amino in the end?

you could opt for a more in-depth NIPT which would screen for more genetic conditions that the one the NHS offers. I had low risk from my NHS NIPT but it doesn't rule out everything, and following a couple of losses last year , it doesn't seem to have damped the worry.
Perhaps wait until 20 week scan and decide then?
