How to cope with wait for CVS results?!

this is my first pregnancy and all was going amazingly until our world came crashing down at our 12 week scan. 8.5mm NT measurement. We were also told there is fluid all around the baby and their odds of being fine are very very low. It’s so hard to stay positive and I can’t help but feel completely devastated.
any advice on how to cope with the wait for the CVS results?! It’s absolute torture.

I have no tips because I was a mess but I did get my CVS at about 10am on a Monday and I was told the results by lunch time the Tuesday so it wasn’t long to wait for them. Good luck xx

Hi I’m currently 23 weeks and on Friday I just got told my baby nt is 7.8 everything else is fine I’m waiting on appointment for more test I’m like u so scared and worried

Oh wow I’ve not heard of it being picked up that late. Everything was okay at 12 weeks then?

Wow that is quick. We had our CVS Friday morning and are still waiting although we’re told it would most likely be today. Thank you xx

yeah everything was fine last few scans this one everything was going good until to end she says tat I have get more test done to check for downs because nt fluid back of neck was 7.8 still waiting on the call to be tested so confused lost and worried why now like

Ah that is confusing. It’s a horribly worrying time, we’re feeling sick with worry waiting for this call with our results. Hope you manage to get in for further tests soon, you feel helpless when you’re sat about waiting for the next step x

thanks for the reply it’s nice to talk to sum one just off the phone to nurse and she said I’m in Friday for more test I don’t know how to feel so worried I’m 24 weeks today baby kicking like mad
