Waiting for NIPT results, feeling nervous

Hi Everyone,
Just wondered if there was anyone in a similar position right now?
I've been for a scan today (10+4) and NIPT which was recommended as I'm 41, second baby.
Scan went well, HB 166, measuring right on track, NT 1.9, nothing concerning but I'm already feeling really anxious about the NIPT and it's been literally an hour 🙈 how am I supposed to get through these next 7 days waiting for the results??
Being that bit older, I'm just so nervous about something being wrong

Congats! I didn't want to read and run. I'm not in this position currently, but was 7yrs ago. Had NIPT at the same time as you and I was 38, with my 1st pregnancy, having TTC 4yrs at that stage. My results came back quicker than 7days, but unfortunately, it was not good news. For reference the NT was 6.5mm and it was positive for Patau syndrome.
Your NT is normal and that fact the scan was too is fantastic news. Wishing you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy x

Thank you very much for your reply. I'm sorry to hear yours wasn't a good outcome 7 years ago, I hope you got your rainbow baby?

Unfortunately, no, we never got our rainbow baby to term. 12yrs TTC in total, 3 losses, rounds of IVF and no cause for sub-fertility ever found. 1 consultant said it was due to my 'old eggs'! A hopeful bump for you anyways to get other replies x

Wow, to go through all of that and still find it within yourself to come on here and reassure others.
Thank you 🙏 and I'm so sorry you didn't get a positive outcome x
