Any clinicians or people working in the field here or anyone had this or know anything about it?
Last pregnancy I went for Natera Vistara which also does single gene mutations (as we have a close family member who is diagnosed with one and also due to both maternal and paternal age) but this isn't available in the UK or EU anymore (out of licence apparently).
The thing I don't get is that the Vistara just took a blood sample from me to analyse the fetal fraction, but this Veragene takes a maternal blood sample and a paternal cheek swab - I'm not interested in potential risks from the father (as already preggers and won't be having another after this one) I want the fetal DNA analysed iyswim
It's not the standard NIPT with Aneuplodies/optional microdeletions etc
