1/119 “high” risk of Down syndrome

Absolutely out of my mind with worry. Apparently I’m high risk (0.84% chance of my one twin having Down syndrome. Crazy that this is treated as high risk. NT measurements for both 1.7 and 1.9. No issues seen at 12 week scan.
I think my age has gone against me and pushed the risk up.
Looks like another weekend of worry because the reports aren’t running properly for the NHS. Anyone had this risk number?

I'm sorry you're going through such a worry. No experience prtsonally, but a friend who was pregnant with twins at 40 was warned that tests often come back as high risk for twins because the blood test is much less accurate for twins so age counts for much more. It must be a difficult wait. X
