How long for NIPt results ultrasound direct

Just wondered for those who have had the NIPt, particularly with ultrasound direct (baby bond) how long you waited for results and did they phone or email? Had mine morning of 6th Dec and was expecting to have heard something by now. Am hoping if it was inconclusive or bad news they would have phoned??

results just came through tonight at 8pm all fine 🙂 for anyone looking up the same info who comes across this thread, it was 10 days from the test date

Did you get to know the sex? I did when I had it done. It was a bit weird scrolling through the email to find out girl/ boy

Mine took 8 calendar days.

Just a word of warning though, they got the sex wrong for me - told me I was having a girl, he was all boy at the 20 week scan! I thought this mistake was so rare as to be almost impossible but there’s lots of stories online of it being incorrect, so I would wait for confirmation at 20 weeks before buying anything too girly/boyish.

@Cuppasoupmonster thats terrible!! You would think girl/boy would be the easy bit of the test! No we wanted to keep it a surprise 🙂
