NT screening. Free beta HcG off the charts.

Hey everybody! I just had my NT screening and blood sample. NT measured 1.9 mm, and everything on ultrasound seemed fine. Blood work was weird though. PAPP-a came out okey (1.23 MoM) but what I am worried about is that free beta HcG was waaay high (6.06 MoM). Making me 1:233 odds for DS instead of 1:473 considering my age (32). The odds aren't that bad considering the cut off here is 1:100 - but I am worried about how high the hcg levels are. I got the call on friday so going into the weekend with only google has made me so anxious, considering i have hardly seen anyone talk about that high HcG on any threads so far.

Even though it might not be DS I am just wondering what other concerns could it be that is making my hormones so high. Having NIPT on monday.

Anyone had similar experience???

Very unlikely to be DS but better safe than sorry. There's usually other tell signs

I wouldn't worry

Talk to ARC - they are great on all this sort of thing, and were so helpful to us:
