I had my scan during the week and I was 13+4 at the time. I went for the combined screening. My NT was 1.7. Today I got the phone call from the screening midwife to say my risk was 1 in 74 for Down Syndrome. It came back low risk for Edwards and Patau’s. My last pregnancy which was only 9 months ago gave me a risk of 1 in 38 for Down Syndrome that time and I went for the cvs and it came back clear.I found the test painful and I had to go alone because of the pandemic.I have opted for the same cvs test this time and the midwife said she would call on Monday with an appointment for some time next week. I know I have been through this before. I’m very nervous again. I have a 15yr old,a 2yr old and 9 month old. I’m just really so worried again about this risk. Any advice or words of wisdom?
