High HCG 5.810 MoM 12 week

Hello,

I'm hoping to discuss my 12 weeks results as I have received high Free B-HCG of 5.810 and low PAPP-A of 0.282.

Scan was completely Normal.

Just want to add I have had no bleeding and the midwife hasn't gone into any detail regarding the HCG only the PAPP-A and 1:142 result for Trisomy 31.

Would appreciate to hear from anyone with similar results of high HCG as it's so hard to find someone with similar levels.

Also, I done a blood test for NIPT and waiting for the results... should I be requesting another scan at 16 weeks?

No experience but you're only just in the low risk category so plenty of change baby doesn't have T21. The next step will depend on the results of the NIPT and what you decide to do with them. My friend was offered a CVS pretty much straight away or an amnio a bit later on. Good luck with everything!

@Confused521 thank you for the reassurance. Since getting my screening results I haven't actually looked at is as I'm just into the "high risk" category. I have been reading lots of people's story's today and emailed the midwife so feeling a lot more clued up and ready for my result x
