I got 1:142 as a result of my 12 week blood test.

Has anyone had a similar result and received something different after a NITP/ harmony test?

I didn't have a follow up but got 1:7 with my son and my friend got 1:40,000. Her son has DS. Mine not.

My NT screening came out at 1:110, so high risk, but my NIPT was 1:10,000 (low risk) and my baby was born without any health issues. Your odds of your baby having Down syndrome are less that 1% but I know it's nerve wracking. For me, the NIPT put my mind at rest and was very much worth it.

I had 1:187 and had a NIPT which came back very low risk (1:40,000 or something!?)

I’m 20 weeks pregnant now and don’t really think about it anymore. I’d definitely recommend it!

I was told I have 1:23 risk but NIPT came back today as low risk. It's free on NHS so I'd recommend having this test done as it's just a blood test and then if anything else is flagged then consider going for the more invasive options. X

Believe it or not .... I had a 1:2 chance for DS. My baby does not have DS.

I had a CVS.

For you I would recommend the NIPT for a more definitive answer as so many factors can skew the NHS screening results

@Mrsmujic just went for my NIPT today and have got some aspirin to take till the baby is born. Happy to hear you have some peace of mind now... how long did you wait for your result if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you for the reassurance x did you also receive your hcg and Papp-a level? My hcg is really high and Papp-a is low. I wonder if there is a pattern with the sex of the baby x

I never got the blood readings. Ours was mostly based on a high NT measurement.
