I had my 3 months scan and so Stressed now after finding out my papp-a is 0.28 and down syndrome is 123. Im waiting for the harmony test results now. This is an ivf pregnancy and im worried if there's any link. Has anyone had similar experience?

Hi @Deeps123 I had a very similar experience recently also with an ivf pregnancy. My papp a was 0.22 and came back as a 1 in 5 of DS and 1 in 89 for the others. The wait for the nipt was awful but luckily came back as low risk for all 3. The midwife explained it was mostly the papp a that made my risk high. My NT was 2.7mm. Lots of women have low papp a and there are risks but most pregnancies are fine. I've got a private 16 week scan tomorrow which I'm nervous about as haven't seen how baby is doing since the 12 week one but heard heartbeat last week which was reassuring. I think there is a link with ivf and low papp a and higher hcg (mine was only 1.04), I also had a bleed at 8 weeks with spotting all the way to 12 weeks which again I think is linked to the papp a.

I really hope it all works out for you, most likely it will!
