I made some enquiries today with the Fetal Medicine Centre about invasive testing as I'd read on here that a lot of people recommended Professor Nicolaides. It sounded to me from what the receptionist said the Professor Nicolaides doesn't currently do the invasive tests regardless of what day of the week I was to book and that the appointment would be with a leading consultant who regularly stood in for Professor Nicolaides if he was ever unable to make his own appointments. Does anyone have any experience of having invasive tests at the FMC carried out by anyone other than Professor Nicolaides (the receptionist implied it would be a female consultant)?
