nuchal translucency result 6mm

I had my 12 week scan today which showed an estimated of 6mm nt. The baby was in a awkward position and she said she couldn’t get an ideal measurement. My scan less than 10 days ago was normal no concerns. They said they would be referring me to St Michael's Hospital in Bristol for more tests. They didn’t say anymore just for me to wait and see the specialists. This is my 7th pregnancy I’ve had six miscarriages over the past few years. Feeing heartbroken.

Would people be able to share their experiences?

Hope the 20 week scan goes well. You must be so pleased it’s going well after your losses and such a stressful beginning

I'm still waiting for the Fetal Medicine Unit from St. Michael's to contact me, I'm going crazy!

When you went there, did you have the CVS/amnio straight away? Or did you first go for a "normal" appointment or scan, and only then you had your procedure scheduled?

@Absc I couldn’t have the cvs due to the position of the placenta so had the amino at week 16. I saw them three days after the referral from my hospital. I’m due to go again tomorrow for 20 week scan and echo. Hopefully they ring soon if not ask your hospital to chase the appointment x

@Absc They called me today, with a last-minute cancellation for tomorrow. Now I'm just hoping that everything goes well!

@Absc good luck tomorrow be warned it’s hard to get parking so you need to add an extra 30 mins to find parking. My appointments start at 11.45 and I plan to be in the area by 11.20 at the latest to get parking x
