Not heard anything since 12 week scan

Hi all

I had my 12 week scan on 12th Feb. They said everything looked fine but I've not heard anything since, I'm sure they said I would get a letter with results of the testing within 2 weeks. Friends who use the same hospital have had a letter.

I'm beside myself worrying. Tried calling the hospital and my midwife but cant get through to anyone who can help me.

If something was wrong would they not send out the letter and wait until my 16 week check (this week?) Or is no news good news?

Oh and I know they have the correct address for me as I've since had the letter for my 20 week scan

Hi, I'm sure all is fine and your letter has been lost in the post. Different trusts may well work differently but I had mine on 26th and was told if anything untoward came up on the screening I would receive a call within the week but if all ok I would get a letter in 2-3 weeks. The letter actually arrived one week after the appointment. I would just give them a call, it's been over 3 weeks now so you are entirely justified in calling and it would no doubt put your mind at ease. Let me know when you hear x

Thank you @MummaBear2017. I've tried calling again but always get told I need to leave a message so I have but not had a call back..

I have my 16 week appointment with the midwife tomorrow so I'm hoping she can advise x

Pretty sure normally you receive it within a week so you're right to contact them.
It sounds like yours maybe got lost.

Do you have any online notes?

Finally managed to get through to the antenatel clinic at the hospital by calling the second reception opened! Seems like the letter got lost in the post but everything came back fine so that's a relief.
