Hi to everyone! 
I had my 20wk scan today, it's my first baby so lots of anxiety going on! Dilated renal pelvis (9mm on left and 12.1mm on right) was found on both of baby's kidneys. Not much was said except I shouldn't be upset (had a bit of a wobble) and I would be referred to a consultant for further scans, the specialist would then make 'the right choices'. I did ask what these might be but they didn't want to say anymore. Naturally worried, I have spent the rest of the day googling more Information and although majority of what I have read shows positive outcomes with baby either naturally resolving the problem before birth or antibiotics and monitoring after birth, I would really like to hear about real life experiences. I know it could possibly lead to surgery as a worst case scenario. Please could anyone share with me their own journey with this? Thanks so much x x x
