Hi just wondering if anyone has been In the same situation and what there outcome was.
I have just had my 20 week scan and the nuchal fold has came back at 7.2mm however the consultant said there were no other abnormalities they could see.
I had my 1st trimester screening done which was low risk 1/10,000chance for downs syndrome.
I have booked to get a NIPT to put my mind at rest either way.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had similar experience and what there out come was as this is my first pregnancy so I'm very anxious about it all

Hi ! Sorry, I haven't been in your situation so I can't really help. My understanding is that NT is significant only in a very tight frame, and also it grows with the baby (I think ?) so it's normal that the NT would be higher at 20-wk than at the 12-wk scan.

But at this point only the harmony will truly put your mind at rest, I realize that !

Hiya, just came across your thread. What was the outcome of your harmony test if you dont mind me asking. I had my 20week scan this week and the NT was 7.4 so then today I had a detailed scan with a consultant and he measured 8.4 NT but no other markers and my bloods were classed as low. I have booked the harmony test for next week but my head is all over the place but I declined the amniotic test. Hope all is well with you.

Hi just seen your post and copied mine from another, mine was a little over at 12 week scan, 3.6 but resolved at 14 weeks and so far heart and everything else looks OK, I had 1 in 15 chance for downs, but NIPT came back low chance, the only thing that's bugging me is baby is never in a good position to see spine as they keep saying suboptimal view, I declined the amnio as the scans are OK at the moment, its a really scary time and I've not enjoyed any part of this pregnancy at all, constant worry and not much sleep, the NIPT was the only thing that put my mind at ease, im still unsure whether to now change my mind and do the amniocentesis or just accept what will be will be now as im nearly 25 weeks x
