Could I please just ask what your initial ‘risk score’ was given to you after the first trimester combined screen?

I have been placed at high risk and am waiting for my Harmony results. I’m trying to manage my expectations and just wanted to know what kind of risks other people were getting before DS was confirmed by amnio or other testing.

My friends was 1:10,000

She had no other testing and her Daughter was born with Down’s Syndrome

1:11 but our scan showed heart issues so we knew it was likely.

Had TFMR as lots of health problems which made pregnancy incompatible with life.

Went on to have pregnancy without issues a few months later

I was 1 in 13 on combined screening before Christmas (I'm 40 at EDD and have low papp a of 0.37 and high hcg at 2.0) nuchal fold was within normal range. I opted for NIPT too and it came back as 'highly unlikely'. Scans to date clear. My friend however, same age as me, had a 'Low risk' initial combined NHS screening (1 in 400 and something) so didn't have any further testing. Her baby was born with Downs syndrome in October. Odd how it works out.

I know it's not what you asked, but mine was 1:36 and lo doesn't have DS. Family member had risk of 1:115 & was DS.
