Low Papp-a AND low HCG?!

Oh ladies help me out,
I went for my 12 weeks scan last week at the hospital and had a horrid experience with the sonographer saying she couldn't see baby properly due to me having had my son a year ago 'and not being as slim as you once were' it was awful. And seemed bizarre as though I am not pre-pregnancy thin I'm not massive!
Anyway, we then went for a private scan yesterday and baby is gorgeous. NT measured 1.5 and all looked lovely.
Got my bloods back today and I'm really worried as my HCG and PAppA levels are low.
HCG comes back as 0.14 and PAppA as 0.26
All my risk levels are 'low risk' but should I be concerned about these levels? I don't see my dr til next week and am really worried

Back from the hospital. We had another scan and they can't see anything wrong at all. So hard. Feels like torture. We have to wait longer for the karyotype results and then maybe for an amnio next week to confirm the diagnosis.

I'm so sorry KTD. It's such a bloody horrible situation to be in and the waiting is unbearable. You have been in my thoughts.

I'm still here and still waiting. We went for an amnio on Friday but they couldn't do it as the membrane hadn't fused so it was dangerous for the baby. I was expecting the full karyotype yesterday and my consultant said any less than 100% and she would want an amnio to rule our confined placental mosaicism however no results came through. I waited by the phone all day and chased and chased.
I've rung again today and been told they'd be sent through today. I asked if I could have an amnio today regardless of the results and am still waiting for any sort of contact back. No results, no nothing.
It's a special form of torture and it's killing me slowly.

So our results are in. 100% of cells and the consultant is of very little doubt that our baby has Edwards syndrome. Broken hearted.

Final update of our story: Yesterday we said goodbye to our beautiful girl Sadie Rose.
It was a surreal and emotional day but we made the decision to have it done surgically and I'm already sure it was the right call for us.
Now we start to put one foot in front of the other and hope to heal in time.
