How far behind are femurs

Hi all. I have been going for repeat scans due to femur length.

The femurs at 28 weeks are 39mm which I understand to be under 5th centile.

Does anyone have experience of such low measurements and what the implications were.

Consultants are talking about dwarfism etc. The baby has shown consistent growth at the same pace throughout pregnancy everything else relating to the leg is in or around 5th centile and all other measurements are normal.

All experience of this sort of thing is welcome!

Sorry you're worried. Here's a link to a discussion on another site with a lot of Mothers talking about their experiences...seem to all have had healthy babies here

Thank you. We have been told it is definitely "not normal" I was just hoping others could share there experience
