Cyst found on baby's head at 20 week scan

hi has anyone else had experience of a cyst on baby's head at 20 weeks. My notes say right cpc normal variant and everything else was ok. I am just panicked to death and wondered if anyone else had experienced this?

My baby showed 3 CPCs and a sandal gap between the toes at 20 weeks which sent us into an absolute panic and decision to have the amnio. Thankfully all was fine and my DD is now 12wo and absolutely perfect. I think sometimes the advances in scanning can pick up all sorts of things which end up not having any significance. I know its easier said than done but try not to worry. If you have no other markers the odds are that everything is going to be fine.

My baby had 2 cp cysts at the 20 week scan. I was told that 1 - 2% of 'normal' babies have them at this stage. They are harmless and disapear in a couple of months.
If no other problems were picked up at the scan then your notes are right and they are just a normal variant. I only knew they were there because I had a private scan, I was told that it is nhs policy not even to tell parents as it just causes worry for no reason.

Try not to worry, easier said than done I know

Eavers - so glad that everything thing is OK with your little one. Still can't believe all that worry is finally over and our babies are finally here safe and sound!
