I know this isn't good for baby but are there any other mums out there having this same issue. I am getting to thr point I can't do the school run anymore because it panics me and unable to.sleep

Contact your midwife and explain how you're feeling. Ask to be given additional support and put in touch with a mental health midwife or perinatal mental health service. I had similar struggles and the support was brilliant once I spoke up. I got through it with therapy and medication. If your midwife doesn't act, phone and ask to speak to the midwifery team leader.

Yes, my health anxiety goes absolutely mental when I’m pregnant and postpartum. I’m having to stop myself obsessively poking a hard bit in my armpit which I am fairly sure is an actual muscle as it’s my baby-lifting arm, but my mind says… what if??? Since I’ve had my baby I’ve diagnosed myself with a brain tumour, various cancers and thought I was going blind. I’m seeing the perinatal psychologist now and feeling a bit more hopeful. Definitely push for more support, that level of anxiety shouldn’t be brushed under the carpet by your gp x
