Looking to have DC2, but how to prevent PND?

Hi all, so I had pretty bad PND first time round, nearly admitted myself to hospital but DH really helped me through, and along with ADs and him helping with a lot of the night feeds, I got better.
I'd love to have a positive experience 2nd time round (we only want 1 more child) and I'd love to feel I made up for the first 2 months of my sons life.

Does anyone have any experience/tips?

(I fully appreciate I'm likely to get it again and will prepare myself for this)

Thanks.

Just to give you a bit of hope. I had pnd with my first, didn’t do anything about it until he was 5 months and I feel so guilty that I missed a lot of his first year really. However, I’ve gone on to have baby number 2 and I was absolutely fine this time round. Considering he was born in the first lockdown and the stress of covid and not having any support as we couldn’t see anyone and my family aren’t close by, he has been a dream. Totally different experience. So it’s not inevitable that it will happen again.
I think you will be more relaxed second time round. And you know what to look out for, you have a supportive husband who also knows the signs and the minute you start feeling like it, jump on it and get some help. The other thing that I did was come off hormonal contraception as I realised there was a big link between that and my mood.
