I've heard people say they just knew something wasn't right straight after the birth.

Hope you're OK. Take care of yourself.

It can. It can also be the "baby blues" which has a cutesy name but can be devastatingly powerful as your hormones adjust. If you are worried speak to your midwife, keep talking. They've seen it all before and will be able to help.

Hi lovely. Yes it can, however baby blues is very common between 3 and 10 days. Anything that last longer than 2 weeks is more likely to be postnatal depression.

If you're feeling low, it's so important to tell your health visitor. There is a lot of support available and the earlier you get that support the better and quicker the recovery.

If you don't have an appointment coming up. Call your HV and let them know

Hope you are OK lovely 🌸

YES. Absolutely, I know this as I suffered from birth. I put it down to the traumatic delivery we experienced (which it quite possibly was) but I started and the feeling didn't go away for a long time.
My advice would be to go to your GP, or speak to your HV. I didn't do either of these and I regret it even still now 😔
