Monitoring after birth

Hello everyone,

I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant with my second baby.

I currently take 100mg Sertraline. The mental health midwife said baby need to be monitored for 48hrs afterwards. I spoke to my consultant today& he said no longer than 24hrs as it's a low dose. With my previous pregnancy I was still on the same medication but no action was taken, I was able to go home.

I'm not going to argue or dispute it; they know what's best for baby.

Has this happened to anyone else? Thank you Smile

Yes I am on the same, due in 2 weeks. They have said they will monitor baby afterwards for withdrawal symptoms but that it is very unlikely. No more than 24 hours though as far as I know x
