Forgot mine and dps 15yr anniversary.

He came in earlier, gave me a big kiss on the forehead n said 'stop pretending you've forgot what day it is, took me a while to click

He was fine about it am feeling a bit crap now tho

I can't be arsed with this idea that we're supposed to remember special days with no prompting.

Birthdays maybe, but anniversaries? If people are really bothered about celebrating anniversaries then all they need to do is mention it casually the week before, instead of testing their partner to see if they will spontaneously remember.

You do realise it's a conspiracy? My DH once confessed that all the lads he works with ALWAYS put their anniversary date in their calendar - then deliberately not mention it to their DW - so they can store some serious browney points for rumpy pumpy / night out etc etc.

Unfortunately you've fallen into the trap.
