In thinking that if we question the money spent on fun things all the time, then they are no longer fun?

Let's be honest here. We can't save the world. We can barely save ourselves these days.

So what's wrong with spending a bit of money on The World Cup/Eurovision/Etc rather than on saving the world?

These things have obviously been budgeted for in some way and if we didn't spend money on them, there is no telling if we'd spend them on world hunger/poverty/etc.

So why don't we all just relax and enjoy ourselves a bit?
