about this 3 year old future WAG

i know im being judgey but lets face it most of us do it at somepoint

was at the library this morning for baby storytime and a mum there had her DD with a white t shirt saying 'future footballer's wife' in pink glittery letters,all over the front is it just me or is this rather a bit

What high hopes she must have for her DD. The future looks bright!

very very sad - but our society allows it - it is a real problem finding non-slutty clothes for a 10 year old thesedays

I saw an interview with a young girl somewhere very recently, saying she wanted to be a WAG like cheryl cole

yeah, marry an arse who wont stay faithful!

I personally hate stuff like that, it looks tacky, but I suppose it's harmless as long as it's tongue in cheek?

actually given the current economic climate and the fact that footballers get paid silly money becoming a WAG it probably a pretty good move right now

Where is the male equivalent? My ds doesn't have any t-shirts saying he wants to be a toy boy or wants a rich woman to live off..

Maybe we should start our own line- 'I want a career and financial independence', 'I don't want sexist stereotypes foisted on me' or 'I want to live my own life and make my own choices'...for both sexes!

In ASDA there are headbands with 'Wannabe WAG' written on them. My DD will never be seen in one!

Not terribly catchy those slogans though lazarusb... And the kid would have to be quite wide to fit them on a t-shirt..so that would be encouraging childhood obesity.

In other words, don't bother working hard at school, getting an education, a good job and financial independance - just marry a rich man instead.

The entrepreneur could make bad investments and lose everything in an instant, the sportsman could get a serious injury that will end his career, recessions can close down businesses - and what does poor wifey do then?

My DDs will be encouraged to get qualifications for good jobs.

That Urban Outfitters tee is but at least it's made for people old enough to choose what they want to wear.

Putting kids in tee's with WAG on them is just yucky. It's not a career or life choice!

I bought DD the one saying Cheeky is my middle name, very cheesy but it was only £1 and was better than the wag one

My friend posted a photo on FB of her daughter on the beach with 'I WILL be a wag' written in the sand below her buggy - her DD is a year old

I also saw a girl on holiday abroad recently with one of the Primark padded bikinis on. Was horrid!
