We have 3 kids; an 11yr old girl,a 4 yr old boy and a 15 month old girl. The baby is still in a cot in our room, which is cool and when she is a little older she will share with my young son in the second biggest room.My eldest daughter is in the box room which is comfy and we've done it out for her. What happens when my son gets too old to share with little sis and at that time my eldest daughter has exams and will need her own space? shall we divide son/little daughters room, get two daughters to share or what? can't afford to move into bigger house I was thinking of doing out the loft? any help please.thanks.

could you put the 2 girls into the biggest room in the house, you & dp into the middle size room & ds into the smallest? in the biggest room, would there be space to use shelves etc to 'divide' the room, and then the girls just have to learn about keeping noise down etc?

loft conversions can be expensive, and not all houses are suited - does anyone else in your street have one?

i did know someone whose parents put a shed in the the garden for him - prob totally illegal to live in it, but is was their only solution.
