Playdates - why do they have to happen when I am there?

I am never there as I work but when I am off I do a multi one for DS.

DH is the stay at home carer but it's still not acceptable for him to invite anyone for an afterschool date?

Discuss?

Sorry, I should have added the bit about my DD. He doesn't feel comfortable with DS but it seems to be really weird around DD's.

Erm... being a SAHD all day he doesn't fancy being surrounded by other people's DC? I can see your point but if he does feel less enamoured by other children I can see his too!

Playdates are dreadful. Screeching kids, yuck. If your DH doesn't want to have other people's daughters over that's up to him. Leave him to it.
