If you saw my previous thread about horrible hubby you will know what I am going through.

This morning I text my friends and said I wouldn't be going out tonight as hubby has said they are all laughing at him cos of me etc.... and so I wouldn't be going out on my usual Tues night anymore. (Even though you lovly Mumsnetters said its not true and my friends won;t believe it anyway!)

So, AIBU, to just turn up at the pub as if nothing has happened.

Hubby isn't talking to me and if I don't go somewhere I will be stuck in the house forever.

Help!!!!!

P.S; Sorry for being rude and using AIBU for a quick response.

i don't know, it's your life! stop asking us and go and do something! lol

XboxWidow30 · 15/06/2010 21:01

thisisyesterday, I know its my life but I have lost the power of rational thinking recently, lol!

I need the MN wisdom and if you tell me all my friends will hate me for what I did this morning then I won't go. I will sit here and watch the rubbish thats on the tv.

Thats another thing, why when we have 3 million channels there is still nothing to watch??!

I would go

And I would start confiding in your friends about what a cock your partner is...and ask for their support in extricating yourself from him

Then I would stop posting multiple complaints on this forum about him and actually do something about it

XboxWidow30 · 15/06/2010 21:02

I do confide in my friends and as much as they are great listeners....

Ok, guys I'm off. Pub quiz and some alcohol.

I will try and stop complaining and use that energy to actually do something about it!

Right, I'm off out. Pub quiz and some alcohol (not too much though!).

Thanks guys!

anyfucker put it better than me! lol

of course your friends won't hate you, if they did they wouldn't be very good friends.
if you were my friend I would however think you were mighty odd to put up with him, cancel plans because he sulks and then come out anyway because he won't talk to you

only you can take control of your life, so stop letting him walk all over you

i hope you have a lovely night out

XboxWidow30 · 16/06/2010 09:37

Hi, had a good night thanks. Had alcohol and chocolate, always a good thing! And my friend to talk things over with.

Thanks again.
