lol
I had similar when I went to get a cut in my hand dressed at A&E - cut it myself with a breadknife.
The nurse, who presumably has seen hundreds of cuts before and done it lots of times took the towel I was holding on it off and said WOW!

I could hear a plasterer in my bedroom having violent outbursts of swearing, sounded a bit like very loud sneezing mixed with expletives I still haven't discovered the problem

What a nightmare! Hope you get it sorted!

SPBHF - yuck! On a similar theme, the smiling doc at A&E said my DD probably hadn't broken her arm as she wasn't crying, he took off the scarf I'd supported her arm with, gasped, and said "get her some morphine, quick!" [can laugh about it now emoticon]
