So Gordan has resigned. I'm glad and think he is right to do so, but aibu to think he should've done this 6 months ago so we could have voted for whoever takes over?

OOOH. I didnt know this. Perhaps he shoudl ahve resigned but who would take his place. I cant think of anyone in the labour party that stands out. Especially not Miliband.

I don't vote for a PM, I vote for my local MP and the party's policies.

I thought he was obliged to stay in post (it is his job after all) until someone suitable had been found tot replace him? I.e.: he could easily stay in until DC and the Lib Dems have come up with something? I thought ll the 'squatter' comments in the paper recently were pretty low...and I can't stand the man!
