Just picked him up from the buggy where he'd fallen asleep an hour ago and he fell straight back asleep on me.
I could put him down but tbh I can't remember the last time he was asleep on me like this (he is 2 in July).
Had list of Things to Do before picking dd up from nursery.

so AIBU to not do any of them and just browse mumsnet/sleep (must NOT sleep or I will forget to get dd)? Is it v lazy of me?

YANBU, most definitely YANBU.

Dc naptimes are sacred! Not just for the dc but for the mum, too.

biddysmama · 29/04/2010 14:42

nope, i do it all the time, enjoy the sleepy snuggles they are my favourite

you would be unreasonable to wake him from his nap when he is obviously so comfy

weaselm4 · 29/04/2010 14:42

Woohoo! Enjoy! Not lazy at all, I'm sure it will do you good.

bellissima · 29/04/2010 14:43

YANBU! I an do nowt for much longer - and DCs at school . Enjoy!

Beasknees · 29/04/2010 14:43

that's exactly what i'm doing except my big boy is asleep in the buggy and the baby asleep on me. feel i should wake no 1 as he'll be a pain to get to sleep tonight.

Adair · 29/04/2010 14:47

Aw thanks, I am enjoying gazing adoringly at him and sniffing his hair and kissing his forehead and stroking his cheek.

Love how babies slow you down sometimes.

Ooh, making me broody for another one...

YAdefinitelyNBU, how I miss that. DD is 3 and never sleeps on me anymore. Enjoy it while you stil can

booyhoo · 29/04/2010 19:20

Yabu to do so when my ds will NOT go to sleep!!

but really yanbu, relax and enjoy. i love those wee unplanned breaks.

JaynieB · 29/04/2010 19:20

YANBU - DD age 3 did this a little while ago for the first time in ages and it was so lovely to have her all warm and asleep on me and conveniently she had done it while I was sitting near the PC!

Pozzled · 29/04/2010 19:58

Oh I love those sleepy cuddles so much. They're pretty rare nowadays, DD is 20 months, but she did it a week or two ago and it was lovely. So nice to have an excuse not to get things done as well!

bowbluebell · 29/04/2010 20:03

Aw! Babies heads are lovely and soft. I love it when DD falls asleep on me, especially when there's a paperback and a cup of tea in reach.

MIL calls it 'baby bound'- as in 'I can't get up to answer the door/hoover the floor/mop up the cat sick, I'm currently baby bound'

Adair · 30/04/2010 08:14

love 'baby bound'. See, that's why I want another (with ds I managed to eke out 'baby bound' til 6mths in the evening, with dh waiting on me and getting me tea etc )

I did pay the price for that long afternoon nap... 5am this morning!!

(excuse clumsy punctuation - 'til 6 months, in the evening')
