DS2 went through a stage of being obsessed with them, and whenever they were on I had to do the clap clap clap bit otherwise there would be tears.

Little Einsteins I can handle mostly because of the classical music - the Backyardigans however is a completely different matter...

YABU. They are great. DD loves classical music thanks to them.

If you think Little Einsteins are unbearable, try Teletubbies. I lost the will to live for the six months or so DD was obsessed with them. She did learn loads of new words, though. (Hearing them repeated 5000 times in quick succession, she couldn't help but learn)
